Area: 1.3 acres
Client: BG group
Architect: Raj Agarwal and Associates
Location: Bally, Howrah
Status: Under construction
Year: 2017- present
The project sports a prime Lake-front area allowing us to attempt to create a seamless interaction between our design and existing surroundings. The landscape design attempts to work on the ideas of 'borrowed landscape'. Creating a sweeping walkway that unifies the landscaped area with intermittent pockets forming ‘viewing decks’, our design incorporates the feeling of being at a water-side, right from the boundary walls to the pool deck. This simplistic approach reflects the flow of water as one floats along the expanse of landscape. The playful design of the lakeside railing mimicking the waves of water, the swiping curve of the jogging track, the seating areas, benches, senior citizen's court, all celebrates the presence of the vast lake along the project.
