Srijan Logistics Park, Howrah

Area: 26 acres

Client: Srijan group

Architect: Raj Agarwal Architects

Location: Howrah

Status: Partly Complete

Year: 2016- present

With the growth of the idea of industrial parks comes the need for conscious implementation of greenery even in the industrial sector. Logistics Park is one such venture that flaunts a massive gate complex incorporating perforated metal sheets, stepped planter beds and a security room with glass facades. The core of our scope entailed a planting scheme for the whole site, a typical portion of which comprised low height hedging, a bed of flowering shrubs with a backdrop of cluster palms, forming three to four layers of depth. The aim of the design is to provide visual relief using greenery and colors present in nature itself using planting-based thought process.
